Phillip Johnson Murder: Teen Shot In Williamsbridge

Police are now in the process of searching for a boy who pulled out a gun in front of his family at a bus stop when he was approached by a rival.

The boy’s family is still in a state of shock and the gunman reportedly got into an argument with 14-year-old Phillip Johnson at the bus stop while waiting for his ride near 219th Street on Monday night.

Those who witnessed the scene said that the killer was around six feet tall and 200 pounds; he started to shove the other boy and eventually it ended with him drawing his gun on him, firing the weapon and striking Johnson in the chest several times.


His family said in his defense that things simply got out of hand and the situation began to escalate after an argument. Relatives of the shooter said that the bullets went right into Johnson’s heart and the boy took off running right after.

The family of the boy who shot Johnson is trying to get him to surrender; however it did not end up working out. Authorities say that they are pursuing any leads that might end with an arrest and are asking for the boy’s family’s help as well as those who witnessed the incident.
