Oprah Apologies To Parents Of South African School

Oprah Winfrey has traveled to her South African all-girls school twice in one week following reports of alleged abuse taking place at the school.
It was reported that one of the matrons fondled at least one girl, choked another one and cursed out several students.Which led to one of them to run away.
Oprah broke down in tears to parents of her $40 million girls’ school in South Africa Sunday, apologizing for the recent allegations of physical and sexual abuse there.
In an emergency meeting, Oprah told parents:

“I’ve disappointed you. I’m so sorry. I’m so sorry,”

A father of one of the students comforted the talk show host, telling her:

“It’s not your fault. We don’t blame you.”

She gave them her personal phone number, e-mail and mailing address,and also put the Principal and one other matron on leave.
Winfrey has hired her own investigators, in addition to the South African police and the Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offenses Unit who are on the case.
A school spokesperson told the Sunday Times of Africa:

“It is all in the hands of the investigators,” . “They will have to determine if criminal charges will follow.”
