New York Governor David Paterson has decided to grant a full and unconditional pardon to Slick Rick.The artist was arrested for attempted murders of two men in 1991.According to reports:
Gov. Paterson says he was compiled to pardon Rick, who is now a landlord in the Bronx, after learning that the “Children’s Story” rapper has remained on the “straight and narrow” since his release from prison in 1997.
Slick Rick has volunteered to counsel youths against violence.You can watch the video after the jump.
