Laurence Fishburne CSI Season 9:Laurence Fishburne CSI Role Confirmed-It is now official that Laurence Fishburne will appear as a regular on the upcoming ninth season of CBS hit series CSI. Fishburne is set to replace actor William Petersen, who will depart the role of “Gil Grissom” sometime this season.Laurence said:

Fishburne’s character is a college lecturer and former pathologist who focuses on criminals’ motivation.
