Kwame Kilpatrick Latest News:Kwame Kilpatrick Going To Jail?-Kwame Kilpatrick will apparently plead guilty at 9 a.m. tomorrow and lose his job as the Mayor of Detroit and go to jail.Kilpatrick will meet with Wayne Circuit Judge David Groner in his criminal perjury case stemming from the text message scandal and make his announcement.James Thomas, one of Kilpatrick’s attorneys, said this evening:
“I am told that part of the negotiation is related to jail time.” “I’m not sure what the final agreement is, but you can expect that that was probably one of the most important parts of the agreement.”
The mayor also faces two felony assault charges.
