Queen Latifah The L Word Album – Queen Latifah might call her eight studio album “The L Word” because she wants to “mess with people’s heads” concerning the latest rumor saying that she is a lesbian.Latifah said:
L” word can stand for “love” or, just as what people think, “lesbian”. “L was gonna stand for love though or La. Since people want to play games, I like to jab back sometimes just for fun.”
She added:
“Dre helped me write some stuff. He wrote some stuff with me and Ludacris wrote a record for me.””Lyrically it covers a range of topics. A lot of love on there. People, dealing with people, how people do all kinds of things.”
Elsewhere, the star shares the big screen with Alicia Keys in a film titled “The Secret Life of Bees” and is scheduled to hit theaters on October 17.
