Chris Brown UK Visa Denied

Chris Brown UK Visa Denied – Chris Brown was recently denied entry to the United Kingdom. The incident caused Brown to delay his UK tour. He said that he was refused permission the grounds because he was found guilty of a number of criminal offenses last year. Those offenses took place when Brown beat his girlfriend, R&B singer Rihanna. He was later charged with assault and was sentenced to 180 days of community service, along with five years of probation that will be ending in August of 2014.

He is also not allowed to go near, or be in contact with his former girlfriend Rihanna. Tour promoters confirmed that scheduling changes would have to be made because Brown was denied access into the nation. Those that have already purchased tickets for the concert dates have been asked to hold on to tem as they figure out the possible solution. The tickets may end up being good for different dates other than the ones that are printed on the tickets themselves.

The Home Office released a statement regarding the incident. In it, they stated that they reserve the right to refuse entry in to the UK to anyone who has had a serious criminal offense, including Chris Brown. With so much focus on public safety, apparently Brown’s offense was enough to make them reconsider allowing him to enter the country. He is allowed to appeal the decision and there are a number of steps that he can take to ensure that the tour goes along as planned.
