Randy Moss To Vikings

Randy Moss To Vikings – New reports are surfacing that Randy Moss is in serious trade talks with the Patriots. This means that Darrelle Revis may not have to wait as long for a rematch against the player, especially if he ends up having to face him on a Monday night football game.

The Vikings originally drafted Moss in 1998. However, the Patriots have reportedly been discussing the trade of the player for quite awhile. It seems that the only obstacle to the trade was the contract that Moss had signed with Minnesota.

At the moment, he is in the last year of a three-year contract that garnered him $27 million dollars. Some are wondering if the Vikings are only concerned about having Moss for this season, and if this is the case, they could simply trade for him and not draw up a contract for it.

Moss has made his opinions known about the situation, openly broadcasting his disgust at not being signed to the Patriots any sooner. In fact, Brett Favre was petitioning for him to play with the Green Bay Packers before he signed his contract in 2007.

Moss has had a slow season so far, making only nine catches.

Update

Randy Moss was officially traded to the Vikings.
