Notorious cartoon blogger Andrew Breitbart recently struck out again, this time targeting First Lady Michelle Obama and her anti-obesity campaign.
The cartoon shows the First Lady sitting in front of a pile of hamburgers, showing off a plump figure and a double chin next to a big haired President Obama, who has a plate of meager vegetables.
The First Lady is pictured saying, “I’ve stepped up my efforts to control America’s eating habits by telling restaurants to lower portion sizes and fat content.” The President then responds with, “Michelle, I want to get re-elected. What you’re doing is only going to annoy a lot of people.”
She then responds, “Shut up and pass the bacon!”
Breitbart is currently at the center of a lawsuit due to a video that he posted on his website that shows a government official as a racist.
James Hudnall and Batton Lash, two political cartoonists recently defended the release, saying, “We find the ‘do as I say, not as I do’ approach of the Obamas hypocritical and ripe for ridicule. The First Lady seeks to enforce healthy eating on the nation, while indulging on snacks in public appearances.”
