Kobe Bryant MVP: NBA All-Star Game

Lakers’ Koby Bryant won the Most Valuable Player award for a record-tying fourth time a the National Basketball Association’s All-Star Game helping the Western Conference to beat the east 148-143.

Hitting 37 points for the game was a high and he added 14 rebounds on Sunday night at the Staples Center. Bryant has also led the Lakers the last two years to NBA championships.

With this MVP award it ti4es Bryant with Hall of Famer Bob Pettit as the only two players to win four of the All-Star MVP awards.

Bryant said to the crowd, “Being at home I wanted to come out hard and put on a good show.”

During the game, Bryant led early making the West gain that lead but the Laker got backed up during the final six plus minutes of the game.
