P.Diddy has revealed that despite being able to pick and choose from the endless parties invitation he prefers to concentrate on his acting career in new TV movie “A Raisin In The Sun”.He said:

“I said I was going to abstain from partying so I could give all my energy and focus, and nothing would cloud my attention here in promoting this movie,” “I’ve just been doing press supporting the movie. I’ve abstained from partying, amongst a lot of things!”

Combs has also said that his first film premiere was an emotional moment .

“This is an important role, my first movie I’ve ever starred in, my first premiere, so there’s nothing more important than this,” ” It’s just been crazy, this moment is so emotional for me right now. I’m very excited.”

The film’s director Kenny Leon praise for Diddy’s acting performance by saying:

“He’s a great actor, a great friend,” “He’s very giving and one of the hardest working actors I know. He will do everything it takes to prepare to be successful. No entourage, he was very serious, just like this week he’s promised to not to hang out and party, he’s here to deal with this film.
“Sean is the only actor in America that’s seen both sides of the dreams. He grew up poor and now he’s one of the wealthiest people I know, but because he’s seen both sides of the dream and he’s always in pursuit of honesty and truthfulness, he is the perfect actor to do this role.”

ER actor and Diddy co-star John Stamos added:

“He couldn’t have been nicer – a real inspiration,” “There’s a reason why he’s so successful – this guy really worked hard. He’s really first of all a class act and just a shining example of a disciplined actor, producer, whatever he does.”

The three-hour film is the first network television film to have a premiere at Sundance and will be broadcast Feb. 25 on ABC.
