Ruben Studdard Gets Married – Here is a wedding picture and videos of Ruben Studdard getting married to his fiance Surata Zuri McCants at Canterbury United Methodist Church in Birmingham, Ala., on Saturday.The ‘American Idol’s Season 2 winner met Surata Zuri a couple of years ago,as he was autographing CDs at a Wal-Mart.Sources say:
”Struck by her beauty, [Studdard] followed her to the store’s toy department, and requested her phone number.”
Here are some more details about the wedding ceremony:
”On Idol, Studdard was dubbed the ‘Velvet Teddy Bear’ and was known for dressing down in jerseys emblazoned with 205, Birmingham’s area code. But came time for his wedding, the vocalist got decked out. He and his groomsmen wore black Joseph Abboud tuxedos from local outfitter Mr. Burch Formal Wear, says a source. The groomsmen’s shirts and vests were black, while Studdard had a white vest and a white bow tie.”
