Rod Blagojevich:Blagojevich Indictment – Democratic Gov. Rod Blagojevich of Illinois was arrested earlier today for trying to sell President -Elect Barack Obama’s vacant Senate seat for money or a lucrative job for himself and his wife Patricia Blagojevich or a campaign donation.In a conversation intercepted by the FBI Blagojevich can be heard saying:
“I’ve got this thing and it’s (expletive) golden, and I’m just not giving it up for (expletive) nothing. I’m not gonna do it.””I want to make money.”
Blagojevich was arrested at 6 AM today and later released on bail,and he might be impeached.
