UPS Haiti Free Shipping – UPS Haiti free shipping hoax has hit the internet via twitter.It is not true that UPS will be shipping to Haiti for free,furthermore the company was forced to cancel shipping to the island for now.Additionally American Airlines will not be flying nurses and doctors to Haiti for free.But UPS has donated more than $1 million to help assist the survivors of the massive earthquake that hit the country yesterday.Spokespersons for UPS Debbie Curtis-Magley said:
“With hundreds of thousands of people affected, our hearts go out to Haiti.Through our financial commitment and logistics expertise, UPS is positioned to respond quickly to the urgent needs and tremendous suffering that have been created by the earthquake. We felt it was critical that we act fast to support the relief efforts.”
American Airlines spokesman Tim Smith explained:
“Last night’s hoax on Twitter about American and JetBlue flying doctors and nurses to Haiti for free was just that — a hoax.We don’t know who is responsible, but it’s a very low thing to do.”
What are your thoughts on these rumors?
Please anyone knows if this is real or what, because there are too many people here in Puerto Rico saying that this information is incorrect. And I don’t know whom to beleive….
Yes, that should of not happened. But in regards of American Airlanes and JetBlue, I feel that they should offer that service to our doctors and nurses to help out in this crisis. They want our money. Right would it be wrong to boycott them then when they have a crisis with not making any money then what… All Im saying is Yes that was wrong for the hoax but their response I didn’t like. That shows me how they care about humans to where they cant even say “We can fly 100 Doctors to help and save lives”.
They just lost a customer and I will pass the word on.
