Mariah Carey Gets Pink Porsche for 40th Birthday

Mariah Carey recently celebrated her 40th birthday and received an extra special gift fit for a Diva.
Her husband Nick Cannon bought her a custom-made pink Porsche to mark the milestone. The pop princess turned the landmark age on Saturday, March 27, and was said to be thrilled with her gifts from Cannon, who she married in 2008, reports PR-Inside.com.
The “Up Out My Face” hitmaker revealed the surprise on Twitter. She tweeted, “Thank you everyone for the anniversary wishes! Today is a ‘smash hit wonder.’ I’m having so much fun & you guys make everything even better. All the videos and messages I got for my anniversary were incredible. You never cease to amaze me and make me happy and grateful.”
“Again, thank you so much to all who gave so much time & love. NC (Nick Cannon) shocked me with a custom PINK Porsche!!! And a huge trampoline! Yes, pink.”

In other news, the R & B songstress was set to release a remix album on March 30 titled, Angels Advocate, but reportedly her label decided to pull the plug on the project.
Last week, Carey’s fansite Mariah Daily Journal, cited a management representative as saying the album would not be released. “We are looking to go possibly to another studio album or Christmas album. The decision hasn’t been totally made yet. It’s a creative process that cannot be rushed,” the rep said.
Monday (March 29), a spokesperson for Carey’s label, Island Def Jam, didn’t directly confirm that the album had been cancelled but said, “We’ve released a few of Mariah’s hot remixes on iTunes and Mariah’s back in the studio working on some new surprises,” reports MTV.com.
Two tracks slated for the album – “Angels Cry” ft. Ne-Yo and “Up Out My Face” ft. Nicki Minaj – are currently available on the iTunes Store.
Carey wrapped her Angels Advocate North American tour with a show in Las Vegas last month.
