Dancing With The Stars Results Elimination May 4 2010:Niecy Nash Saved

Dancing With The Stars Results Elimination May 4 2010:Niecy Nash Saved – Contestants are winding down by the week on Dancing With the Stars and it looked as though Niecy Nash was in jeopardy of going home.
But in a surprise elimination night Tuesday (May 4), it was Pamela Anderson that was voted off in the elimination vote show for week seven. Anderson and dance partner Damian Whitewood had next to the lowest score with 51 points while Nash and Louis van Amstel scored the lowest at 49.

The two celebs that have been the best since the beginning, Olympian Evan Lysacek and Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherzinger remained at the top of the leader board. Each scored 54 points, a combination of their individual scores and the team score from the Cha Cha Challenge. Lysacek landed a perfect 30.
Behind them was Chad Ochocinco with 52. He was on sexy Team Gaga, which featured Pamela Anderson and Nicole Scherzinger. Erin Andrews, who was on funky Team Madonna with Lysacek and Nash, was tied with Pamela Anderson. Each scored 51.

And in last place was Niecy Nash with a 49 – who despite having a low score and being the weak link in her teams’ performance – was saved by the viewers’ votes, advancing on to compete in the eight week.
See the final five couples compete next Monday, May 10 on ABC at 8 p.m. EST.

  1. And WHY do you think Niecy was saved by the voters…who do u think is voting for her? Not anyone who knows anything about dancing, that’s for sure..she should have been sent home last night, not Pamela..who is a better dancer than Niecy by far…Niecy’s mouth gets in the way too much…guess there are more of Niecy’s kind of people out there voting, than people who know about dancing…same as for Chad…he can’t dance either….wonder who’s voting for him…Hmmmmmmmmm….Niecy and Chad…does that give you a clue???

  2. Obviously racist… well done idiot, you’ve completely discredited yourself

  3. As I recall, last year Donny Osmond couldn’t dance either – his no talented self. He sure as hell didn’t dance better than Mia. ‘Wonder who voted for him…Hmmmmmmmmm. Guess there are more of his ‘KIND OF PEOPLE’ out there voting. Does this give you a clue? Seems as though ‘YOUR mouth gets in the way too much’ . Anderson got booted off because she does what she always does, tries to use her body to get what she wants. During prime time sex doesn’t sell. Hopefully she learned her lesson. BIG BOOBS DON’T ALWAYS PAY —- heffer!

  4. I love DWTS. Neicy was saved because she is just plain funny and fun to watch. I usually do vote for the better dancers, which is what you should do. However, I have never thought it fair that celebrities who dance for a living are allowed to compete. Part of the fun is watching how awkward and uncoordinated they are at first and how they improve throughout the weeks. During season 5, Sabrina Bryan, also someone who dances for a living, looked like a pro during her very first dance. I loved her and couldn’t believe she was voted off but it’s just unfair competition for those who’ve never danced. Nicole has a huge advantage, as does Evan. I’m rooting for Ana & Evan because I think it’s about time Anna won. After watching so many seasons you start to root for some of the instructors, too.

  5. Dancing w/ the Stars selection of contestants this year was completely unfair. They should have just handed Nicole Scherzinger the trophy on the first night. She has years of professional dancing training so having her compete against people without any training, is not fair.
I always vote for Chad and Niecy. It has nothing to do with race. It has do with the fact that they are IMPROVING. They also are the ONLY people that have personalities and ad drama to the show. Otherwise, the show could be a quick 30 min show with only dancing because the remaining people are BORING and annoying to watch in rehearsal time.
As for Pamela, I’m not interested in seeing a pole dancer girate her silicone.

  6. Okay people! It doesn’t matter what race you are! Geez. It’s just a dang dancing contest. The majority of these people are just “favorites” Whether they can dance or not. I persnally don’t like Pamela. She is a good dancer, but she comes off to me a gross. Niecy is very funny and outgoing and someone that I would enjoy hanging out with. Honestly, I was pulling for KATE. She is a bad bad dancer, but I wanted her to succeed so bad. In the end I agree she wouldn’t have gotten better. Most of the contestents aren’t professional dancers and its a popularity vote. Being white, black, asian, mexican, etc. has nothing to do with it. People like Jan and Mad black woman make it about race.

  7. Dear Jan,

Wow. Your obviously racist comment literally just made my stomach turn. I’d be willing to bet you agree with some of the idiots out there ripping on Sandra Bullock for adopting an african american baby while rocking a “Team Bombshell” tee shirt. You may know about dancing, but you know nothing about equality. Turn off the television and pick up a history book. Read the part about where segregation ended and we all were finally seen as equals. You’re an idiot.

  8. Wow. Strange comments here. Neicy was saved by her charm and improvement, while Pamela has been consistently good but with no indication she’ll ever be good enough to win. Pamela wasn’t showing the rate of improvement of either Chad or Neicy, both of whom have made great strides the last two weeks. None of the three (probably) has a powerful fan base among DWTS voters, so their weekly performance is crucial to continued success.

Donny Osmond, on the other hand, did start off with a very strong fan base as well as showing consistent improvement. This is a show that people watch in part so that they can root for someone (as well as to watch the dancing). They want to see dedication, improvement, humility and joy in their chosen champion. While the dancing is very important, in the end that’s not what it’s all about.

The dancers who remain all have demonstrated these qualities so far. I look forward to seeing which one goes home with the majestic mirror ball.

  9. Niecy was saved because she’s a doll! I love watching her. She cracks me up every time, and she really can dance! She’s steadily improving each week, and her footwork in the Argentine tango was fantastic! She’s a far better dancer (and nicer person) than Erin Andrews, who I hope goes home next time.
