Naomi Campbell On Oprah:Breaks Down In Tears

Naomi Campbell On Oprah:Breaks Down In Tears – Naomi Campbell opened up about her infamously bad temper, revealing that she tends to lose control when people close to her abuse her trust.
The 39-year-old supermodel told Oprah Winfrey that she felt abandoned by her mother as a child. “It’s not just, if I don’t get what I want I throw a fit. It comes from, I think, an abandonment issue and it comes from also trying to just build up a family around me that’s not my immediate family and if I feel a mistrust, then all my cards go down,” she said. “It’s also a fear issue, because anger comes from fear … It’s not an excuse; I don’t have an excuse for my behavior.”

Campbell has lashed out at several personal assistants over the years. In 2007, she was sentenced to community service for throwing a phone at a maid. In 2005, she was accused of beating an assistant with a BlackBerry. Earlier this year, her driver accused her of abuse, but later dropped charges against her.
“I take responsibility for the things that I have done, and I do feel a great sense of shame.” Campbell said. “I feel remorseful. I feel ashamed. I feel for them… [I think,] ‘What have I done to them?’ If I’ve hurt them.”

Last month, Campbell stormed out of an interview with ABC News when asked about a blood diamond she allegedly received from former Liberian dictator Charles Taylor. Although video shows Campbell walking out, she denies she knocked the camera to the ground, saying ABC added a “sound effect” to the video to make it appear that way. ABC denied adding any sound effects to the video.
