Miss USA Scandal Pictures:2010 Miss USA Beauty Pageant Photo Drama

Miss USA Scandal Pictures:2010 Miss USA Beauty Pageant Photo Drama – It appears few Miss USA 2010 contestants are already in trouble over some recent photos that were published. Donald Trump has owned the contest for a number of years now and it appears that he has added some extra controversy to the popular beauty pageant. Some have said that many of the pics that depict the contestants are far to scandalous, and are not as toned down as they had been in the past.

Some of the photos depict the young ladies posing in lingerie, and may more closely resemble a Victoria Secret commercial than the Miss Universe contest. The photos are completely in black and white and they show all of the winners from all 50 states dressed similarly. Miss Virginia is depicted sitting in a chair with pajamas on. Seems harmless, right? However, the top PJ is slightly open and reveals a bit of her breast. These pictures would have never been tolerated in previous Miss USA competitions. Other contestants are also shown wearing lace pantyhose with a diamond pattern. Some have said that the pictures are tasteless, and are far too much for 2010.

Donald Trump has yet to comment on the pictures that surfaced in recent days, but it is believed that he may be part of the reason why the competition took a turn toward “more sexy” after he purchased the competition several years ago.
Trump, who likes the pictures said:
“I didn’t pick out the costumes, but I did say that I think it’s actually beautiful, I think the pictures are beautiful. The girls are magnificent and that’s why we get such high ratings.”
What do you think of the pictures?

  1. As a 20 year-old from New Jersey, I do not think that the pictures are as racy as everyone is making them out to be. However, this is a contest that is supposed to make women proud to be who they are and how they will make a difference. I have visited the website, I have searched the web, and there is absolutely no indication of their ambitions or how they will make any contributions to the world or why they are competing in Miss USA. As a 20 year-old, do you know what my immediate reaction is? Maybe they have no ambitions, but to flaunt their beauty. Is that the initiative of the contest? I did not think so…
Another thing I noticed is that although the pictures are beautiful, they barely look like the contestants at all, except for maybe Miss Wyoming. What happened to a contest that was supposed to be about REAL women doing great things?? Why do they have tons of makeup on and are airbrushed to the point that they are unrecognizable? It seems like anyone can be part of this contest. Even I can, except I would hope somebody would give me some credit for being smart as well as beautiful and not just list my name and state. Little girls look up to these models, and now they will be looking up to some scantily clad girls who are not even like that in the first place.
I think America should be celebrating REAL women.

  2. And from what the lady was saying in the video.. I should take her attitude. I’m beautiful… maybe I should start posing with lingerie on the internet, too. Maybe people will think I’m classy, and maybe when I apply to graduate school because I’m beautiful, all of a sudden it’s ok to wear lingerie like a Victoria’s Secret model.

  3. If we just want Miss USA to be a Victoria Secret commercial, why don’t we just call it that & be done with it. If we want to find out more about these women, their views about the world, their plans for their lives, etc. why can’t we leave the Miss USA pageant as it has been? We should look at who they are & what they want for the world. We don’t have to portray them in lingerie on a bed in order to find that out. the best representative might not look that great in lingerie on a bed but she might be the very best Miss USA all around.
    I’m so disappointed

  4. it doesn’t matter that these girls are studying to be lawyers or that they have masters degrees b/c you can’t see that in the photos and it does not look like anything they would do in that line of work… I am so confused as to why someone who wants to be a lawyer or attain a masters degree would need to be a model, or why someone who wants to be a model needs a masters degree… it does not add up or make any sense.

  5. For the record these are not fashion forward or anything like VS, I am a model I know. It is obvious that these girls were exploited just for the promotion of ratings for the pageant. Of course Trump likes it he’s a douche bag. I have often wondered if miss usa was simply his mistress for a year, these photos do not suggest otherwise. Apparently the talent portion of the pageant is in the bedroom.

  6. I think this is a lot of media hype BS. If you wanna see far more T&A, go to a PG-13 flick or, better yet, the red carpet pre-Academy Awards parade of stars entering the auditorium.

Hopefully, however, this will accomplish what whomever wants — a point or so increase in the pageant’s viewership ratings.

Oh, and BTW, can we get back to REAL news like our 2,3,4,whatever endless wars currently slaughtering people on both sides, dragging the U.S. economy into a gutter of future despair for millions of Americans and (hopefully) sealing the Empires fate to a mere footnote in history?

  7. The Photos make innocent young girls look like WHORES. Since their names and home towns are public Donald will be fortunate if one or more doesn’t get raped or worse.

  8. I viewed just the head shots. I had a hard time deciding if these young women were being photographed for a respected beauty pageant or if they were trying to get a foot in the door of the adult film industry. Due to the over done cosmetics, some of them looked more like like female impersonators than beautiful young ladies. Whomever made the decision to have these women photographed with pursed lips, garish makeup and an apparent lack of wardrobe is exploiting them. There is no doubt that even the head shots I viewed on Yahoo were set up to make it appear that the ladies were naked. I am not a prude, but I must say, the pics made me uncomfortable and they made me feel badly for the ladies in them. Tacky, tacky, tacky!!!!

  9. Young women representing the 50 states dressed up to look like porn stars…..sounds about right. No wonder so many people in other countries think all American women are sleazy.

  10. Wow, what a bunch of prudes. Oh, and @Dada, feel free to go somewhere else if you hate the United States so much.

  11. I agree 100% w/ Gabriella Petrillo’s first comment. I, too, visited their website and there’s NOTHING about what these ladies’ credentials are. In fact, I realized these women may be somewhat of a role model only after the Miss USA spokeswoman said something about them being in law school and getting their Masters degrees. Thereafter, however, she proceeded to defend Miss USA’s “edginess” on grounds that these girls will be moving to NY for modeling gigs. Um, what about college? Making a difference? Staying active in the community? Her argument is illogical and confusing. Are Miss USA’s goals to promote female role models, or lingerie models? Fashion models? If I (a second yr law student) am confused, then surely younger girls aspiring to be Miss America are likely to misunderstand these messages.
