American Idol Top 3 2010:Michael Lynche Out – Once again, Casey James was the heavy favorite to be voted off of American Idol. James had been chosen on two other occasions as well, but it appears that America likes James more than the experts do, based on the recent advances that he has made in the singing tournament. However, with the finale near by it has become apparent that James needed to get his act together and deliver a stellar performance if he would like to escape elimination once again. However, James was upstaged in the most recent episode, according to some experts;

“Is this the third week in a row I’ve picked Casey to go?,” wondered MTV’s Jim Cantiello. “It might be. But this week he was upstaged by Michael Lynche, who was his only real competition in the tournament.”
James has been able to stick around by the scruff of his neck, reportedly finishing in the bottom two on one occasion. Even the crowd appeared to be a little bored throughout his performance.
“Not to mention that the audience right in front of him in the mosh pit couldn’t have looked less interested,” he said of James’ underwhelming effect. “There aren’t enough cougars on the planet to keep Casey alive.”
It can be hard to guess who will be leaving American Idol week in and week out, because ultimately America does decide who stays and who goes. However, with recent performances in mind, it appears that James may finally be making his exit from American Idol this week.
Update :
Seeing that the new father of the pack Michael Lynche was booted out the show the Top 3 are Crystal Bowersox, Casey James and Lee DeWyze.

  1. Casey for the win. The tides have turned and momentum is swinging his way. Look at his Homecoming videos, particularly Keys Lounge performance. This dude can ROCK!!!!! I hope he does that tomorrow night, and if he does, he’ll slide right on into that Finale! 🙂

  2. Michael has some serious skills and it was hard to see him go.

    I confess that I am hoping Casey makes it through tonight. Loved the duet with Michael–they were totally in sync–beautiful.
