Swizz Beatz and Former Wife Mashonda Tifrere – Swizz Beatz will reportedly be getting married to his current girlfriend, Alicia Keys, at some point in the future, according to a statement that was released by the couple. Rumors surrounding the couple have run rampant online in the last few days and weeks. Swizz, who is hot off of a divorce with his former wife Mashonda Tifrere, and has been in a custody battle with her for quite some time, is reportedly trying the knot with his current girlfriend Alicia Keys. Other rumors that have made their way online in recent days have stated that Keys is pregnant with Swizz’s child. Those rumors turned out to be true, and were confirmed by the couple in a recent statement.
His ex-wife, Mashonda, recently wrote an open letter to Alicia Keys describing the pain that Swizz’s affair with Keys had caused her and her family. Despite her openness about her dislike for Keys and the affair, Mashonda has said that she harbors no hard feelings for the singer, and that the affair that took place, in the end, was not her fault. Swizz appeared to mention his affair in a number of songs before Mashonda found out, including a remix of Drake’s recent single, “Best I Ever Had,” in which Swizz says;

The “A” that he is referring to in the song is reportedly Alicia Keys. The song was recorded and released when Mashonda believed that she was still involved with Swizz.

We have all suffered from a broken heart at some point. I am not judging Alicia Keys in any way; we all want to be loved. However, I believe that out of respect for the sanctity of marriage and the other woman, we should wait until the divorce is finalized before we get involved. Men will lie and play around in the name of separation, but more often than not they are still consumating marriage with their spouse.

I am just shock of the news about AK. I was in the beauty shop last night and we were talking about the BET Awards that is coming on Sunday 6/27 and AK came up in the conversion. I usually don’t comment on blogs but I HAD to speak my mind on this 1. I agree with most of u all. Many people look up to Alicia Keys because her songs are very powerful and motivational. She HAD a good image. Now, I look at her completely different. She’s a hypocrite in my eyes. If u make songs with titles such as: “Karma”, “Super Woman”, and MOST IMPORTANTLY “This Woman’s Worth” and then u sleep with another woman’s husband, how am I supposed to look at u? Alicia Keys, hunny, woman (me) to “woman” (u), I don’t know u personally but I expected more from u. Apparently, you’re not who u betray to be.
Things like these happens in life. MASHONDA is a very beautiful woman, she is still young and will find the man who loves and appreciates her.

Swizz Beatz is gaining more success by being with her…she is his trophy. I believe Alicia is attracted to women, but tried to do the right thing by marrying a man. Why the hell she picked him I still don’t understand. Yes he is a talented producer, artist and is business minded but he is clearly a whore. Some people feel if someone is seperated it’s okay to date and sleep with them….other people wait until the divorce is finalized. She stated they were seperated, but even if she waited until he was divorced she would still be called a homewrecker…..nothing would change.
The best thing she can do is submit herself to the Lord and be added to the body of Christ so she can be forgiven and that’s what I pray for. I was disappointed and I hate that she has put herself through this. I still believe that she is a genuine lover of people and who knows maybe she has asked for Mashonda’s forgiveness, but of course she wouldn’t tell us that. Mashonda is not a saint either…none of us are. It’s possible she looked the other way at his affairs, but didn’t care as long as she was able to live the lifestyle of a superstar.
This marriage seems more like a business deal and a cover for Alicia’s true sexuality. Her bestfriend is always with her and she has been seen in pictures and videos. With her being married it doesn’t look ” suspect ” for her to be seen with her alot. Her bestfriend appears to be straight, but is clearly the true love of her life….this is just what I see. Alicia is still that chick with the cornrolls and raspy voice with a tomboy swagga. Also I believe she didn’t want to have a “baby-daddy “. I believe that she believes she can encourage him to be better and also help him succeed. As far as I know the Reebok and Lotus partnerships and songwriters award came AFTER there was knowledge of their relationship. If he truly has love for Alicia then this is a marriage of two good friends. In this world it’s better to be known as an adulterer than a lesbian. Sin is sin, but both of those are pretty high on God’s list of distain. Homosexuality is number one and Adultry is number two.
I’m still a fan of Alicia despite the situation and that is what unconditional love is. I don’t agree with what appears to have happened, but the good outweights the bad. I still love me some Alicia and I hope she comes to her senses and divorces Swizz and raises her son and lives her life quietly.
