Wyclef Jean Hospitalized – Wyclef Jean has reportedly been hospitalized in New Jersey after he suffered the side effects of both stress and fatigue. At one point, he had been hoping to run for the presidential position in Haiti, but had come under fire for how he handled money that was donated to his Haitian fund and was not allowed to run for office.
He entered the race in hopes of helping to turn the country around. Since that time, he has been dealing with severe headaches and has had a very hard time dealing with the stress of his failed presidential bid.
A spokesperson for Jean said that he had had a very hard three months, and that he had just not taken enough time to see to it that he took care of himself the right way.
“He has a passion for his people,” the statement said. He is not believed to be in any serious danger, but will remain hospitalized at least until the headaches subside and he is able to carry on as normally as possible. Jean had come under fire from Sean Penn, the actor, who said that before Jean should be allowed to run, a deeper investigation into his charity funds should be conducted. It was believed that Jean had paid himself $250,000 out of Yele’s funds for a performance that he conducted during a fundraising event that eventually lost money. Hopefully he is able to bounce back and get back on track.
