T.I. Saves Suicidal Man Life – Rapper T.I. recently stepped out and saved a man’s life, talking him down from the rooftop of an Atlanta building. According to reports, the rapper had been listening to the city’s V-103 radio station when he heard about the situation going on. He them showed up at the scene, and offered to help police out by talking with the man.
According to news reports, the suicidal man went up to the roof of the Colony Square skyscraper, which is 22 stories high. He threatened to jump off the roof, and fall to his death. However, T.I. (whose real name is Clifford Harris) arrived on the scene and offered to talk with the man. The police relayed the information and the young man came off of the roof on his own.
T.I. spoke with the man for a few minutes before he was whisked away to Grady Memorial Hospital. According to the police, the man will not face any charges. Office James Polite, one of the officers on the scene, told reporters that they were thoroughly grateful for the help that T.I. had offered.
“We’re happy it ended the way it did, and we thank him,” Polite said.
The rapper who was recently released from jail and his wife were arrested last month on suspicion of drug offenses in Los Angeles while he was still on supervised release and will head back in court on Friday – which has many saying that this whole thing might be a publicity stunt for the judge to go easy on the couple.
