Kanye West Cancels Today Performance After Matt Lauer Interview

Kanye West Cancels Today Performance After Matt Lauer Interview – Kanye West has officially backed out of his previously scheduled performance on the Matt Lauer show which was set to be aired on November 26th. He claims that the reason he has backed out of the performance is because he was “set up”. He has made his feelings about the whole situation very clear on his most recent tweets, saying that even after he refused to go on they still announced he was performing on the 26th. West says that he doesn’t hold a grudge against Lauer or the Today Show, stating that he promotes only love and understanding.

He says that he is more than willing to accept any future apologies which may come his way in the future from the Today Show. His continuous venting on his blog has left fans with an idea as to what is really going on, despite what they have been told by the media. He says that it is nothing new and that he has been made out to be the bad guy many times because of situations such as this where things did not go as planned. This recent “setup” is just one in a few incidents involving West refusing to perform on certain shows that he has taken a stand against on principle.
