Sandy McGriff, Pastor Breaks Into Church Members Home: Report

Texas pastor Sandy McGriff has not turned out to be so holy this holiday season. She was arrested on Christmas Eve for breaking in the home of one of her parishioners.

McGriff was spotted loading her car with purses, laptop equipment, and $10,000 worth of fur coats. Apparently, McGriff has a taste for expensive things, as she was seen stuffing the stolen items in her Jaguar.

The victim of the alleged robbery, Serita Agnew, is devastated by the actions of her 52-year-old preacher. Yet, McGriff maintains her innocence. The preacher said she was out for a stroll on Christmas Eve, when she saw two men breaking into Agnew’s home. Rather than calling the police, she took the items out of Agnew’s home to protect them for her. For heaven’s sake, she was just going out to get peach cobbler.

McGriff resisted arrest and police were forced to draw their guns on the preacher.
She even told them that her name was Kathy Robinson. Police reported that McGriff was not sober. McGriff uses pain medication for her back, but denies being on the drugs at the time of her arrest.

McGriff made it to Sunday morning services after spending some time in jail. She stated that her church was full of support.

  1. I have to think that God really does not appreciate that kind of behavior. Good work by the local police department.

  2. Slavery and racism made her do it. This is all the product of slavery and racism. The white man is to blame for everything. Oh Father Obama, please deliver me from these white racists.

  3. The sad part is that there are preachers out there truly doing the right thing and God’s work and you have people like this who give them a very bad rap.

  4. This has nothing to do with the slavery, racism, or violence that minorities have endured in American. This has everything to do with a criminal. Criminals come in all shapes and forms. You just proved that there are many more ignorant people still in this world. Especially right here in America where people are taught to hate like you. I’m sure you wouldn’t have made that comment (which has absolutely nothing to do with race) if you had to constantly endure negative conduct directed towards you solely based on ethnicity. Regardless of who you are we all know of people who are not trustworthy from different backrounds. This is based on this pator’s lack of integrity and morals. Not her skin color. I’m sure its hard to stay on topic when you are spewing ignorance!

  5. I think this is a travesty. A pastor who would stoop to this level, proves that the church is full of “sin sick souls”, from the pulpit to the pews. We have ALL made mistakes; we have all fallen short of the Glory of God. We who know how to pray, must pray for people such as Sandy who are seeking to find themselves; who are lost..There is no way to explain why she did this. This appears to be the manifestation of greed and envy. May God have mercy on her soul.

I understand what “Bob” was saying regarding slavery and racism, though I DON’T agree. He was merely saying, African Americans seem to blame their negative behaviors on racism and the such.
