Bishop Eddie Long Scandal Update: New Birth Pastor Skips Christian Rally In Atlanta – A large Christian rally was held at the Georgia Dome on Saturday night, however, they were missing a notable speaker that had been listed on the program. Bishop Eddie Long, the pastor who is facing a string of sexual harassment charges from four different men in his church, did not show up at the Stand Campaign rally, despite being listed as a key speaker on the event materials.
There was much speculation going around as to whether or not Long would be attending the rally, and there had been no confirmation either way. The rally was aimed specifically at Christians, and urged them to stand up as one in the body of Christ.
The event was organized by Cory Condrey, and during the event, he said, “It’s time to pull together as one and join forces with one another to make a Kingdom impact on this earth.”
Bernice King is the daughter of Rev. Martin Luther King Jr., and she spoke to the audience, reminding them that the church is even more important than civil rights. “God is calling His body back to the church. Now is the time to go beyond the wall and make the Kingdom of Christ,” she said.
Eddie Long did the RIGHT thing not to show up. I still can’t believe that he is STILL LYING to his wife, his children,.and his 25000 members. He did have sexual acts with those boys. Why would the boys lie and make this up. God said he did this and Eddie Long is GUILTY! When GOD VISIT EDDIE LONG, HE WILL INDEED TELL THE TRUTH THEN! THE WORLD WILL WATCH!

It’s not about Eddie or any Pastor, or the choir, or the building, it’s only about Jesus. Any Pastor is a Hypocrite among Hypocrits but as teacher and speaker of the Word he is asked to live at a higher standard of modesty and morals. We pray now for him, his family, the congregation, the young men he is involved with and the mostly for this fresh wound on the body of Christ.

to be born again and get saved. Being gay is still a sin! You all can act like
it doesn’t exsist in the bible. As a matter of fact God call it an abomination way

sex before marriage and committing adultery! Read your bible and you have to get God for yourself no matter what man falls in the eyesight of others. If you don’t believe what I am saying about Gays being an abomination open your bible and it specifically saids that no man should lay with another man. I pray for the entire situation and what I have commented before the facts have not come out and it hasn’t been proven so you shouldn’t put your mouth on anything unless you know for sure that all of this is true.
@T>M>: The bible says in Leviticus that a man should not laY with a man as he would a woman.. and if you like catfish and eat it that to is an abomination sounds crazy but is quoted in levtivus 11,10&12.. The other thing is that it is not part of the deadly seven sinS which the lord states he will not tolerate.. proverbs6 16-19 verses. When making statements about homosexuals it makes me upset that people are so quick to judge those people when we sin daily and not condem ourselves…think about it!
At the mouth of two or more witnesses a matter is confirmed Deuteronomy 19: 15. If only one person were accusing Long, that one is not enough and indeed may be scheming. If two or more make the same claim, it’s as good as guilt. Otherwise you would have to acknowledge that God is not in your midst at all. Period…
Long should step down…..Period. That he does not do that is PROOF that he does not have God’s backing, spirit, or help. He is wicked.

P you just confirmed what I said! If a man shouldn’t lay with another man as a woman duhhhhhhhhhhhh that is a sin and it shouldn’t be! When you read the bible, make sure you get the understanding. We should look at ourselves daily

if you don’t know facts about the situation which you don’t and nobody else but the
parties involved! You say people are quick to judge, that’s exactly right and look what you did to the situation. You are stating comments and not knowing facts
about the situation! My comment as I have always stated, people need to be quiet
pray and let what needs to be done by legal and God take place! You or anybody
else has no heaven or hell to put anybody in but again there is a heaven and hell and if your name isn’t in the book of life (JESUS CHRIST) you can talk about another person all you want to but where will you spend eternity! Look at yourself
and make sure you are living the holy upright kind of life and don’t worry about anybody else! What man falls or not. We all have sinned and come short of the glory of God, but if you ask god to forgive you, God is just and he will, but you can’t continue in a wrong life style and expect to make it in don’t be fooled! Read the word and read it correctly!
We are living today in a society that has dropped stong Christian moral values out of our lives and have substitute it with a coated sinful lifestyle to our delight and to our amusement, wherevr we look and turn all we see today is the moral decline of our society gone wrong , because we no longer look to God nor put JESUS and the bible at the very core of our human existence so we play with sin and to our amusement as no one is above the law or further to add, the law of Almighty God. Whenever we turn away from Gods word here is what God says. In Romans1v26-28 For this reason God gave them up to vile passion For even their women exchanged the natural use for what is against nature. Likewise also the men leaving the natural use of the women burned in their lust one with another men with men, committing what is shameful and reveiving in themselves the penalty of their error. And even when as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge God gave them over to a debased mind.
I feel so sorry for Bishop E. Long.. it is a hard road and difficult choices we make every day. As a new minister of the Gospel, I am learning daily to follow step by step the teaching of Jesus Christ. If you read the bible and not follow the principles of the bible, no matter who you are, you are in deep trouble. However, we serve a God who has overcome the world and is a forgiving God. However, as human beings we must extend grace to a person, but it does not mean we should become nor remain followers. Each one must make their on decision from their faith.
