The police are currently searching for the man who was seen on a surveillance video dropping off a suitcase with a human body inside.
Jody White who happened to pass by saw a leg sticking out and went into a restaurant near by to call the police.
The body has been identified as Betty Williams a 28 year old woman from the Bronx with a long history of arrests for drugs.
The autopsy revealed that the African-American woman was strangled to death.
Detectives immediately started to review the tape for clues as to who the man seen the pulling suitcase could be. He can be seen stopping to take a break and then started walking again, away from the suitcase with the woman’s body inside.
The superintendent of the building where the camera was that saw the man said that he could be seen looking around for a while.
He added that it gave him goose bumps watching the tape and said he wondered if the man dragging the suitcase was in fact the killer.
