Reality star NeNe Leakes recently spoke to Essence magazine about her tumultuous relationship with her husband Gregg, saying that the two were “still together”, but then continuing on to admit “that’s not to say we won’t be unmarried.”
The stepson of Leakes is now claiming that the couple is, in fact, going through a split and is currently hashing out all the details about the divorce.
Damian, who is 34-years old, recently said, “The paperwork is being done. Nothing has been filed, but lawyers have been retained. There are so many small intricate points that they’re asking for…talks about alimony and spousal support. She wants to keep the house and move on with her life. They’re trying to portray it as ‘we’re not getting divorced’ and they’re trying to work it out right now, but that’s not the case.”
The stepson added that the pair is currently fighting over their finances, and that Gregg is adamant about the $300,000 he claims to have given NeNe to start her lavish style of living and help out her career.
So far the representatives for the couples have not made any statements about the allegations that are being made.
