DJ Megatron, a regular host on the BET show “106th and Park” has been shot and killed on Staten Island early on Sunday Morning TMZ reports.
Corey McGriff is his real name was found shot at around 2:00 AM not far from where he lives. H was pronounced dead at the scene.
McGriff was only 32 at the time. He had previously worked for several hip-hop radio stations in cities like Boston and Philadelphia as well as New York City’s HOT 97 station.
No further word has come out regarding the shooting at this time but statements from his representatives, family, and police are expected by Monday so fans will have to stay tuned for the further developments of this growing murder mystery.
