To Allen Iverson, the cops evidently didn’t know who you were nor didn’t give a darn when they pulled the former NBA star’s car over in Atlanta, Georgia for changing lanes without signaling.
Apparently, Iverson was a passenger in his own car, a gray Lamborghini when officers saw the car changing lanes without signaling.
The officers of course pulled the car over and when they questioned the driver, a friend of Iversons’, the driver couldn’t produces the proper identification.
That’s when cops say Iverson got irate and started popping his gob about how important he was and if the cops knew who he was and that they could take the car because he had 10 more like it.
Iverson went on for some time berating the officers and carrying on like a spoiled brat but that didn’t help the MVP winner any as the cops towed his car off to the impound yard.
Not only did the driver get pinched for changing lanes illegally but Iverson got hit for expired tags on the car.
All in all, Iverson finally saw the light of day and came back and apologized to the officers for his conduct.
Sometimes rich people just can’t pull over, give the officer the right documentation, shut up and drive on.
He’s an idiot. He said the same thing at a club years ago when he was trying to hollar at my friend. Ahhh!! The famouse “Do you know who I am ” comment…
