NFL star Hines Ward is breathing a sigh of relief and sporting a smile after having gone through a police situation that had him staring down the barrels of police pistols.
Hines and a female companion were in a car the other night when police pulled up and had them stop, emerge from the vehicle, hands up, and put into handcuffs.
Hines complied with the cops as did the driver of the car, the female, and it was later learned that the police made a big mistake as they thought the car had been reported stolen and then found out the report was not only wrong but was also gravely outdated.
Hines, being the professional and gentleman he is took the whole incident in stride.
Apologies were issued by the police and Hines isn’t interested in retribution, he’s just going on about his business as usual. The video of the incident is online thanks to TMZ.
