Chad Ochocinco Gets $10,000 For Bull-Riding Fail

Originally Chad Javon Johnson, Chad Ochocinco, the six time pro-bowler and three time all-pro, has spent his entire career with the Cincinnati Bengals, setting a number of franchise records.

The 2010-2011 season was crucial in setting a number of these records, but, overall, Ochocinco’s future with the Bengals may not be certain, especially with a number of young receivers coming in.

All in all though, it doesn’t seem like they will let him go, despite his high-profile and somewhat annoying friendship with fellow Bengals receiver Terrell Owens.

The NFL lockout presented Ochocinco with other career options and he ended up going through with the joke that he might take up bullriding.

According to TMZ, he was paid $10,000 for 1.5 seconds on a bull named Deja Blu.

He received the money just for getting out of the gate. Not a bad deal if you ask me. When it opened, the wide receiver, who seems a bit big for a bullrider, was flung from Deja Blu, hitting the ground hard.

Though bullriding may not be in the direct future for Ochocinco, this was certainly an entertaining event and one that I believe fans to have appreciated.

The Bengals may not have been so wild about their star jumping on Deja Blu, but hey, Ochocinco came out on top with that money.
