LisaRaye The Real McCoy TVOne

LisaRaye The Real McCoy TVOne – LisaRaye is telling her side of things in her new reality television show, which premiered Thursday ( April 8 ) on TVOne, and it has everyone buzzing about the actress’ diva attitude.
In the opening episode of the reality series, titled LisaRaye: The Real McCoy, the mother of one arrives at her own “Back in Business”-themed party three hours late. While the crowd seemed happy to see her, it raised the unspoken question of whether her tardiness was just plain rude.
LisaRaye is best known for her breakout role in “The Players Club,” since she’s starred in a number of movies, including “The Wood.” She played Neesee James on the Will and Jada Pinkett-Smith-created sitcom “All of Us.”

In 2006, LisaRaye’s star status elevated a few notches and all attention was on her when she married the Premier Michael Misick of the Turks & Caicos Islands. Their blissful union swiftly made headlines, though the “happy ever after” was short lived. The former First Lady is finishing up her messy divorce as she awaits the divorce settlement.
Recuperating from a broken marriage, the 42-year-old is ready to step back on the Hollywood scene, and admits she loves photographers and interviews along with being the center of attention. When asked by the NY Daily News if she’s a gold digger, she laughed and replied, “I was digging for gold in high school. I’m into platinum now.”
Previews of upcoming episodes suggest that McCoy won’t be money-spinning in her ex-husband’s dough, and Rev. Al Sharpton, who appears on the show, is involved in the divorce negotiations. It seems some paper-flying drama will go down as things move forward on the series.
The show is further enhanced by two mini divas, Quincy – her cousin and assistant, and Joe ExClusive – her stylist, who both star alongside LisaRaye to round out her clique.
LisaRaye: The Real McCoy airs Thursday nights at 9 p.m. ET on TVOne.

  1. I just think if the show is called the real mccoy it should be real. Well I grew up with the Brats father who just pasted rest his soul. and her mother. Well tell me why the real mccoy is carrying on the lie that the Brat is her sister. Had the nerve to open the show with the lie.

  2. To happy who wrote on April 22,2010 Lisa Ray is the reay Mccoy, I know for fact that the Brat and Lisa Ray are sisters they don’t have the same mother but do have the same Father. That is the real!!! his name is on her birth certificate. Was he Lisa Ray is much older the the Brat and while modling she was in the spot lite and when Brat was comming out Lisa wanted Brat to have her own fame so she sayed in the back ground. Little Sister do her thang

  3. THe reason these type of shows are on is because of the huge number of uneducated people that accept this as entertainment. She is ghetto but even more ghetto is tiny and toya. They don’t want intelligent well meaning Black women (or women for that matter, remember Jessica Simpson, “is that chicken or tuna”/)to star on reality shows. The women got to be negative in some kind of way.

Lisaraye father was killed a long time ago, he didn’t just passed, btw.
Probably over some crooked stuff he did to earn his money for the low scaled hotels he owned around chicago.

Da Brat was adopted by the family. She is not blood related, tho that shouldn’t really matter anyway.
