Slim Thug Slams Black Women:“White Women Treat They Man Like A King!” – Slim Thug has found himself in some hot water after making a number of comments regarding black people (specifically black women) that many have not appreciated, according to recent reports.
“It’s hard to trust a black woman sometimes because a lot of black women’s mind frame is that the man gotta do everything for her – he gotta pay for this, he gotta pay for that, and if it ain’t about money then a lot of them ain’t f*cking with him. If that’s what you’re here for then I don’t want to be with you,” Slim said in a article he wrote for Vibe. “Most single black women feel like they don’t want to settle for less. Their standards are too high right now.”
The comments were quickly picked up by a number of media outlets and have continued to spread across the Internet since then. Slim Thug went on to talk about his bi-racial girlfriend who cooks and cleans and follows his guidelines through whatever he decides.
Of course, there are those who can relate to what Slim Thug is saying, but to single out one race is never a good idea, especially when you are depicting those individuals in a negative light. It is not clear what prompted him to make the wild statement, and Slim Thug has not apologized for his words.
Slim Thug recently dated singer Letoya Lucket. Apparently, she must have been after his money because some have speculated that Slim’s comments could have been directed towards her.

The way Black people think in general is messed up. Both men and women need to change their way of thinking. It’s hard to trust a Black woman [sometimes] because a lot of Black women’s mind frame is that the man gotta do everything for her⎯ he gotta pay for this, he gotta pay for that, and if it ain’t about money then a lot of them ain’t fucking with him. If that’s what you’re here for then I don’t want to be with you.
Most single Black women feel like they don’t want to settle for less. Their standards are too high right now. They have to understand that successful Black men are kind of extinct. We’re important. It’s hard to find us so Black women have to bow down and let it be known that they gotta start working hard; they gotta start cooking and being down for they man more. They can’t just be running around with their head up in the air and passing all of us.
I have a brother that dates a White woman and he always be fucking with me about it saying, “Y’all gotta go through all that shit [but] my White woman is fine. She don’t give me no problems, she do whatever I say and y’all gotta do all that arguing and fighting and worry about all this other shit.”
My girl is Black and White. I guess the half White in her is where she still cooks and do all the shit that I say, so we make it. She just takes care of me and I like that. She don’t be begging and I don’t gotta buy her all this crazy ass shit. And she’s a smart girl too. She graduated from Columbia [University] and I like that about her so it’s cool. I’ve dated girls that will buy a $3,000 bag and don’t know how to pay it off on their credit cards. They walk around in these Louis Vuittons and red bottoms but they’re riding around in raggedy cars, so it’s just getting your priorities right.
White women treat they man like a king and Black women feel like they ain’t gotta do that shit. Black women need to stand by their man more. Don’t always put the pressure of if I’m fucking with you, you gotta buy me this and that. Black men are the ones that motherfuckers need [but] I think a lot of them need to step it up too. A Black man who gets a little bread will go make it rain in the club and be broke the next day or instead of him going to invest in a business he gonna go buy new jewelry or a new car and still live in the hood. Black peoples’ mentality is real fucked up in general [and] it’s affecting everything.
Black women need to be more genuine and be more 50/50 [but] It should be a fair exchange in a relationship period or eventually somebody is gonna feel like they’re getting fucked over whether it’s the woman or the man. I think that will help Black relationships out a lot
his ass need to shut the f k up..what he’s doing ( blabbing his big mouth) is not gonna help the situation..instead of bad mouthing black people he needs to make an example of himself n try to do positive things tht’ll reflect good on himself as an individual and on black people..he’s just brainwashed and still mentally enslaved..it’s ridicu;lous people like him who gives the other races motivation or the ‘okay’ to speak degrading things about black people..there are good and also bad black women out there, likewise there are bad white women or any other woman of all the races..so he needs to shut his ass look at the glass as half full!!

With statements like that being allowed to get published no wonder our young girls are growing up with so much low self esteem cos they believe it’s how the society want them to be and with so much of self negativity you wonder why they act out and not allowed to see their full potential.

wow, he is had obviously been scorned. so much of what he is saying is just so off and bizarre. I am biracial, 50b 50 w, I cook and clean as do quite a few of my black friends. I have found that i have come across more black women who cook than those who don’t. As for white women cooking, it depends on if mother, grandmother cooked ect but usually I have seen that many young white women do not cook unless they have an immigrant mother or grandmother who taught them. This guy is just angry his loss

This is the most ridiculous statement I have heard. Obviously he is used to dealing with groupies who do get with someone like him just to get the louis bags , hair done, etc. He has yet to deal with a real black woman who does know how to treat her man. The same goes for the man, he has to be willing to reciprocate the same towards the woman. Obviously he has some deep seeded issues regarding black women. Its 2010 & i wish people would stop stereotyping. Im a black women & i feel that in any relationship there are expectations & in order to have them fulfilled…you must share them & communicate with each other. It saddens me that people are still using race to define attitudes, morals, diffrences between people. People are individuals & ahould be treated as such. For every white or black women who does things a certain way, i guarantee you i can find one that doesnt.

But, black women on the otherhand, know where we truly come from, we stand strong to that holy spirit that we acknowledge that is within us, whereas, on the other hand, black men has been running away from his divine spirit ever since the fall of Adam. Black men know that we black women would lead him back to what he is truly running from, Jehovah. Black men want to be their own God without Jehovah this is why they run to another foreign race and embrace their foreign gods because Jehovah and black women require truly God fearing men and women and other foreigners don’t know the true one and only God. So, this is why they can entice black men with their ways of doing and making it seem right to him, because the black man dosen’t want to obey Jehovah which require him to be holy. So he embrace a foreigner to get away from the truth that the black women acknowledge, embrace, and really try to live by. He is not running from black as he thinks, he is running from that holy spirit that is within us that tries to keep him on the straight and narrow but he don’t want to have anything to do with that perfect way that Jehovah requires him to live. Some black men cannot stand to see their women reading the bible, going to church, having conversations about the Lord because then he know there is another who is greater than he is. Some black men hate the fact that their black women has a personal relationship with Jehovah God and Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior and the Holy Spirit. Men has been rebellious against Jehovah since the fall of man. They rather embrace the devil than to live holy and just and treat their women like a child of the Most High God.
They only do this out of the disrespect of the Lord’s Word but they try to blame it on the black women. God gave everything to man and all that he needed to live holy and a long prosper life instead of obey God, he let a foreign god come into his domain which God told his dumb, air headed ass the things to be aware of and the things to not go near. Mr Thug…..I’m confused on the topic. I’ve always avioid the subject because it did not apply to me. However, It began to bother me because it become a black woman issue as a whole. Frankly I could care less what you and others like you think when it concerns me. But I would like to know how are we going to explain it to the next generation. I have 2 nieces one who it a teenager now and her preteen sister right behind her. Now, I’m all for letting them know that every black man is not the same; however, this subject is to loud that it echos negativity. If it bothers me…I know it affects them. So are you suggest that I tell them that because they are black, sorry you are not good enough for black men because you are future golddiggers and you are going to have attitudes; and even if you don’t you are guilty by association. I agree with what he said, I know A LOT of women that feel they are Queens and don’t have to work or settle…well if your the QUEEN that makes us the KING; Queen’s don’t talk back, argue nor disrespect Kings. I promise you, if you stand BY your man, he’ll put you on a pedestal, but if you want to put yourself on the pedestal…well we will still keep having the same issues and problems that plague us as a community.
I am a black man and i can understand the controversy surrounding slim thugs comments…..yes he did negatively stereotype black people as a whole but there are still some truths behind his words. In general as a whole we do need to change our way of thinking. Men need to stand up and be the head as God intended and women need to understand this as well…..we as a people need to stop focusing our minds on the moments latest fads and start building something lasting so our children and grandchildren will be financially stable when we are gone…. we need to stop focusing on the moment and think long term…..it upsets me to know we are still struggling with the same self esteem issues of the past and can’t move forward…..we need to stop acting like children and grow the hell up…..men and women get in your rightful positions and this problem can then be alleviated
