Wesley Snipes Jail Sentence To Begin – Wesley Snipes has gotten into trouble with the federal government, and they are ordering that he turn himself over for a three year prison sentence for tax evasion. Snipes stood trial in 2008 when he was found guilty of not filing the returns he was supposed to.
After his court date he was released on bail in order to challenge the court’s ruling. Because he lost the appeal which he attempted in July, he was ordered to surrender by September 2nd but he was granted a postponement which extended till November.
When he showed up in court on the 19th, he was told that he has to turn himself over for the sentencing but he never showed up.
The judge who was assigned to the case stated that Snipes has had a fair trial and all of the evidence has been thoroughly looked through and his sentencing is definitive.
He also stated that Snipes’ attempt to go through a court of appeals failed and because of that he now has to serve a total of at least three years for tax evasion according to the initial ruling.
Throughout the entire process of his case Snipes has been allowed to be a free man, but not it is time for him to come out and face his punishment and take the sentence which was given to him.

OH Yes this makes a lot of sence, He owes taxes, so instead of letting him work so that the government and the taxpayers may benefit from his earnings, Lets put in away so that it costs the government more money to house him and not collect the money He could be paying them from this earnings.

Yeah…it makes a lot of since. Its called TAX EVASION. He mad over 38 millions and in the 90’s and didn’t file tax. To add salt to the wound, if you go back and read the entire story, he claimed he was part of a Moorish religious belief that didn’t don’t believe in paying taxes.
What job is Snipes going to do? Its not like Hollywood is knocking at his door and Blade movies are played out. Send the punk to jail!
