LeBron James Apologizes For NBA Contraction Talks

Recently LeBron James revealed to reporters in Arizona that :

“You look back at it in the ’80s, you had probably 10 teams that had two or three All-Stars on one team, at least. You go from Portland. You go, of course, to the Bulls, the Lakers, Detroit, Boston, Houston.”

The comments prompted countless media outlets to run with the following story “the league should consider contraction.”

Few days later the athlete stepped out to admit that he didn’t know what the word “Contraction” meant which had various media outlets saying that he should have gone to college to better educate himself.

The basketball superstar went right from high school into the NBA. Although James who has been playing his heart out as of lately released a statement on the matter that read:

“Thats crazy, because I had no idea what the word contraction meant before I saw it on the Internet.I never even mentioned that. That word never even came out of my mouth. I was just saying how the league was back in the 80s and how it could be good again. I never said, Lets take some of the teams out. ““I’m with the players, and the players know that.I’ve been with the players. It’s not about getting guys out of the league or knocking teams out. I didn’t mean to upset nobody. I didn’t tell Avery Johnson to leave either.I didn’t say, ‘Let’s abandon the Nets, and not let them move to Brooklyn,’ or, ‘Let’s tear down the Target Center in Minnesota.’ I never said that.”

James signed a free agent contract with Miami Heat over the summer, playing alongside basketball superstars like Chris Bosh and Dwayne Wade who have really made a name for themselves in the NBA. James said that he didn’t intend on upsetting anyone making the decision to switch teams and ultimately he is happy with what he decided and the new contract that he signed.

There were many people who were upset about his going to the Heat, although James seems to be shrugging off most of the opposition that has come his way in recent months.

  1. Lebald is just another ignorant black dude with a tude who will be bankrupt and walking the streets like so many before him. the douche has mortgages on $85 million in real estate, that he wont be able to pay, once Gilberts lawyers prove riley, thru wade, violated NBA rules, and the big 3 are suspended for a year without pay

  2. People need to just get over it. He is with Miami and they have good chance of winning it all. As far as his education, he has enough money, and continues to make enough money to say Fu*k Yall.

  3. Okay, zap that was really rude what you said about “LeBron” which is how his name is really spelled. It is not right to say that he will be another ignorant black man. Keep your racist comments to yourself. Please and thank you.

  4. He should have went to college. It is crazy how so many people support these young men going into the NBA over college stating how they can make millions. I was watching basetball wives and i was looking at Kenny Anderson who looks broke and probably had millions. It is not about the money but what you do with it and how smart you are investing your money. you don’t want to be rich you want to be wealthy which is a big difference. These young men need to stay in school and get an education if you are that good the NBA will still be there. Lebron should have went to college i have always said it and i will remain to say it. Dwayne and Carlo did heck even Jordan went to school and finished

  5. I went to college. I have a teaching degree, even a masters. However, I dont have millions. So what he did not go to college. You can go back to college when you are in your 60’s if you want to. But it is hard to make money. So people who are hating on him are the broke people who are paying off their student loans like me.
