Steve Harvey, the comedian turned relationship guru, recently won an injunction against his ex-wife, after she filmed three videos and posted them on YouTube, accusing Harvey of openly cheating on her during their marriage, as well as mistreating her.
However, the lawyer for Harvey has recently secured a court ordered injunction against Mary Harvey that prevents her from talking about her personal life with Harvey except while in the courtroom.
The couple had been married for 16 years when their divorce took place in 2005.
Harvey has since re-married, and gone on to write a relationship advice book, as well as continue with his work as a comedian. His ex-wife recently released three films in which she claims that Harvey “turned my son against me” and “had me evicted from my house”.
She also made an inflammatory accusation that Harvey’s current wife, Marjorie Bridges, was his mistress while he was married to Mary Harvey. However, the lawyer for the comedian has said that the claims are “false”, “misleading”, and “derogatory”.
Harvey filed papers claiming that Mary was left with $40,000-a-month spouse and child support, as well as three properties after their divorce was finalized.
