Jamie Foxx, Tyler Perry Sued By Inmate Shamont Lyle Sapp Over ‘Skank Robbers’ Movie

Jamie Fox and Martin Lawrence teamed up during the 2009 BET Awards for a hilarious skit where their crazy alter egos Sheneneh from “Martin,” and Wanda from “In Living Color,” took on the roles of bank robbers.

The pair eventually revealed that they had plans to team up with Tyler Perry‘s Madea for an upcoming comedy called “Skank Robbers.”

It now appears that the three Hollywood stars may have stolen the idea from a prisoner named Shamont Lyle Sapp who is a serving a long sentence behind bars for 10 robberies.

Shamont Lyle Sapp filed a lawsuit against Jamie Foxx and Tyler Perry claiming that he submitted the idea about a movie where the three insane characters would reunite in a mad house and they told him no only to use his story without his approval and is asking for $4 million in damages.

The only problem with Shamont’s lawsuit is that it stated that he pitched the story one month after the BET Awards had aired.
