Jackson is set to star as a bad guy in the remake of Berry Gordy’s 1985 cult classic “The Last Dragon.” Jackson will take on the role of Sho’nuff, the Shogun of Harlem, who always asks “Am I the baddest mofo lowdown around this town?” Each time his gang of thugs answered, “Sho ’nuff!”.Samuel said:
“I’m a huge fan of the original and look forward to bringing Sho’Nuff into the 21st century.”

They HAVE TO PUT TAIMAK BACK for the MAIN ROLE!!!! He is STILL the Popular VOTE and LOOKS FANTASTIC!!!! It Would be a Mistake not to put him back on the screen in this remake. Just ask his FANS YOUNG and Old School..

Coolio should have been Sho’Nuff! The originial Sho’Nuff was part wild, part-ego-trippin. Samuel L. Jackson is a great actor, and I hope he captures the spirit of the part. But I think that Coolio, Busta, Mystikal, or someone like that would be a better and more natural fit.
The original Bruce Leroy was more of a Jaleel White than a SisQo.
Either way, I loved the original and can’t wait to see the new one.

Hell nah….. samuel Jackson as the father, busta rhymes as sho nuff and andre 3000 (andre benjamen) as bruce leroy green and dingy air headed Tiffany (New York, I love new york) as Angela Viracco and I haven’t figured who I’d want to see as eddie arcadian LOL

Samuel L Jackson at 62, although he is a good actor is TOO OLD to play Sho’nuff.
And anyway, if he can play Nick Fury then some WHITE guy can play Sho’nuff.

As for the replacement for ‘Vanity’, I’d cast Vanessa Hudgens.
Vanity had a bit of a dusky Asian look at times, Hudgens has about 4 different races in her blood & would have World wide appeal.
If TAIMAK is up to it, then cast him as well.
Danny DeVito or David Leisure (Joe Isuzu) as Eddie Arkadian.
Alicia Keys in Vanity’s place.
LOL on Tiffany as Angela Viracco.
Taimak should get a role in the picture, maybe as one of the guys who fights Sho’Nuff in the movie theatre.
One spectacular catfight between Alicia Keys and Tiffany at the end of the movie that ends with weave tracks and pieces of clothing on the floor.
Now that’s something I would pay to see…
it really does not matter to me who plays who, all that matters is the soundtrack….. last dragon had one of the best soundtracks of all time. it would would be really really crazy but great to bring back the old soundtrack.
